Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Underminr handles information submitted through the site, domain-checking tools, reports, downloads, APIs, and collaboration channels.

Effective May 7, 2026

We collect what the site needs. That may include contact details, submitted domains, reports, technical logs, and security-research material you send us.

We use it for defensive work. We use information to operate Underminr, respond to requests, validate abuse, improve detection, and coordinate mitigation.

We do not sell personal information. Underminr is not an ad platform and does not use personal information for third-party advertising.

Do not submit secrets. Do not send credentials, personal data, regulated data, or confidential third-party material unless we ask for it in writing.

1. Who Provides Underminr

Underminr is provided by Adam Networks, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company doing business as ADAMnetworks®. References to "Underminr," "we," "us," and "our" mean Adam Networks, LLC, acting in connection with this Underminr site and its related resources.

2. Scope

This policy applies to underminr.ai, the Underminr domain checker, contact form, reports, downloads, APIs, and collaboration channels controlled by us. Separate Adam Networks products, services, forums, and third-party sites may have their own privacy terms.

3. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information:

  • contact form details, including reason for contact, name, company, email, country, and message content;
  • domain names or hostnames submitted to the domain checker or API;
  • security reports, domain observations, screenshots, comments, indicators, and related research material you send us;
  • technical information needed to operate the site, including IP address, request metadata, browser information, timestamps, errors, and server logs; and
  • communications created through support, collaboration, or vulnerability-reporting workflows.

A domain name, IP address, screenshot, or report may be personal information if it can identify a person. Do not submit personal information unless it is necessary for the defensive purpose of your request or report.

4. Domain Checks and Technical Testing

When you submit a domain to the checker, Underminr validates the format, resolves the domain, and may run defensive network checks against provider-controlled test services. The result may include the submitted domain, associated IP address, provider classification, status, and vulnerability grade.

We use this information to return the requested result, understand abuse patterns, validate detections, improve mitigation work, and protect the integrity of the service.

5. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Underminr;
  • respond to contact requests, access requests, press requests, and security reports;
  • validate vulnerability reports, domain observations, and abuse indicators;
  • coordinate responsible disclosure, mitigation, and defensive research with trusted collaborators;
  • prevent misuse of Underminr, enforce the Terms of Service, and protect third-party systems; and
  • comply with legal, regulatory, security, or abuse-response obligations.

6. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

Underminr does not currently use advertising cookies, third-party ad trackers, Google Analytics, or browser storage for profiling. Basic technical logs may still be created by the site, infrastructure, security controls, or service providers when you access Underminr.

7. Sharing Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information when needed for the purposes described in this policy, including with:

  • service providers that host, secure, deliver, support, or operate Underminr;
  • support providers used to receive and respond to contact requests;
  • trusted security collaborators, affected providers, researchers, or network operators when needed for validation, mitigation, or responsible disclosure;
  • professional advisers under appropriate confidentiality obligations; and
  • law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other parties when required by law or needed to address abuse, security, fraud, or safety risk.

8. Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, including operating the site, responding to requests, validating security reports, maintaining defensive research records, resolving disputes, enforcing terms, and meeting legal or security obligations.

Retention periods may differ for contact tickets, server logs, domain-check data, published reports, and security research records because those records serve different defensive and operational purposes.

9. Safeguards

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so avoid submitting secrets, credentials, personal data, or confidential third-party material unless we have agreed in writing to receive it.

10. Cross-Border Processing

Underminr, Adam Networks, LLC, and our service providers may process or store information in Canada, the United States, or other places where our providers operate. Information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.

11. Your Choices and Access Rights

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to legal, security, abuse-prevention, and operational limits. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

12. Children

Underminr is intended for security professionals, researchers, network operators, service providers, and defenders. It is not directed to children.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy by posting a new version on this page. The effective date above shows when the current version took effect.

14. Contact

Questions about privacy or personal information should be sent through the Underminr contact page.
